JUNE 2026 · LIMITED SESSIONS

Show Up & Slay

Your EOFY Pile

This is more than body doubling.

Three hosted EOFY sessions with an ADHD coach who knows your brain, your paralysis, and exactly how to get you unstuck.

Plus one session that deals with the emotional side of EOFY — because the pile is never just the pile.

Four sessions. Two experts. One EOFY you might actually finish.

No spiral.

No shame.

Just show up.

It's almost tax return time again.

The receipts you photographed and meant to upload.

The invoice you wrote and didn't send.

The accountant's email sitting at the bottom of the pile.

The financial year you've been meaning to look at properly since... February, maybe?

You know what needs doing. You just cannot make yourself do it alone. That's not a character flaw. That's your brain. And that's exactly what this is for.

LET'S BE HONEST ABOUT SOMETHING

The problem isn't that you don't know what needs doing before 30 June.

You know exactly what's sitting there. The receipts. The invoicing. The super. The things your accountant has asked for twice already. The financial shape of your business you haven't looked at directly since - when was it, actually?

The problem is that none of it comes with dopamine. Your brain is not failing you. It is doing exactly what an ADHD brain does when confronted with tasks that are low-stimulation, high-consequence, and attached to years of avoidance.

You don't need a new system. You don't need another course. You need someone sitting beside you while you do the thing. And one session that helps you understand why it felt this hard in the first place.

That is what this is.

WHAT BODY DOUBLING ACTUALLY IS - AND WHY IT'S AWESOME FOR ADHD PEOPLE

This is how your brain actually gets things done.

Someone beside you while you do the hard stuff.

Body doubling is the practice of working alongside another person - not because they do the work with you, but because their presence gives your brain the external regulation it needs to stay in the room with the hard stuff. It is one of the most evidence-supported strategies for ADHD task initiation.

Research consistently shows that working alongside others helps us complete tasks - especially the ones that feel boring, low-stimulation, and completely devoid of dopamine. Your brain isn't being difficult. It's doing exactly what an ADHD brain does. And other people's presence is one of the things that genuinely helps it move.

The problem is that none of it comes with dopamine. Your brain is doing exactly what an ADHD brain does when confronted with tasks that are low-stimulation, high-consequence, and attached to years of avoidance. That is not a character flaw. That is neuroscience.

Show Up & Slay the Pile adds one thing: if you hit the wall and your brain freezes, there's someone who actually knows the territory. That would be me, Mel Stibbs, ADHD coach for midlife women business owners.

And for one session, Emma Donnelly joins us to do something different -- an interactive hour on the emotional side of EOFY, with a counsellor and hypnotherapist who understands exactly why this pile has felt so impossible.

You don't need a new system. You don't need another course. You need someone sitting beside you while you do the thing. That is what this is.

We show up together

You bring whatever EOFY task has been avoiding you. No agenda-setting required. You don't have to be prepared. You just have to turn up.

We work in the same space

Cameras on or off. Music if that helps. A short check-in at the start, a short check-out at the end. The middle bit is just working - together.

If you spiral, you're not alone

When your brain locks up - and it might - Mel is in the room. Not to do your books, but to help you out of your own head and back to the next step. That's the difference.

30 years of finance in the room

Mel brings a finance background that means she can cut through the noise: what actually matters before 30 June, what genuinely doesn't, and what's simpler than your brain is making it.

When the pile gets emotional — and it will

One session with Emma goes underneath the numbers. The freeze, the spiral, the shame that shows up when you open the banking app. She'll help you understand what's happening and give you tools to move through it.

A counsellor and hypnotherapist in the room

Emma brings a background in psychology and science communication -- which means she understands the brain side of financial avoidance, not just the practical side. That is a different kind of help. And for one session, it is in the room with you.

IF YOU ARE ALREADY IN YOUR HEAD OVERTHINKING

"I've tried to get on top of this before and it didn't stick."

Yes. That is an accurate thing that happened. It is not evidence that you

are someone this doesn't work for. It is evidence that the tools you had

weren't built for your brain.

It is three specific dates in your calendar where someone is there. That's

the whole structure.

And the research backs this up - working alongside others is one of the

most effective ways to get an ADHD brain to actually do the thing.

And when the freeze hits - because it might - you don't have to white-knuckle your way through it alone. Mel is there. Not watching, not judging - just in the room, ready to help you figure out the next step when your brain won't give it to you

Yes. That is an accurate thing that happened. It is not evidence that you are someone this doesn't work for. It is evidence that the tools you had weren't built for your brain.

Body doubling is not a system you have to maintain. It's not another habit you have to build. It is four specific dates in your calendar where someone is there. That's the whole structure.

One session is progress. And that feels good - no matter what the pile you've been carrying for months looks like. Two sessions and the dread starts to lift. Three sessions and you will have done more on your EOFY than you have in the last six months combined. You don't have to be consistent. You just have to show up when you can. One session, two, three, or all four - you will progress.

The sessions

Four sessions. One month. One payment.

5, 12, 19 & 26 June. Come to one, two, three or all four. You will get something out of every single one. No guilt if life gets in the way. No catching up required.

  • Brief structured check-in and check-out each session

  • Weekly cadence - manageable, not overwhelming

  • Cameras on or off - your nervous system leads

  • WhatsApp group for questions and conversation between sessions

  • ADHD-aware facilitation by Mel Stibbs

  • Working time in the middle - your agenda, your pace

  • EOFY focus - bring the financial admin, tax prep, invoicing, whatever it is

  • Welcome video so you know exactly what to expect before you show up

  • Downloadable pre-session guide if you want a heads up on what to bring - not homework, just a nudge

Plus the session that deals with what is actually going on underneath

  • One live interactive session with Emma Donnelly, counsellor and hypnotherapist

  • The psychology behind financial stress and money blocks

  • How to recognise a shame spiral before it takes hold — and what to do when it does

  • Practical self-talk strategies to keep you moving through the hard stuff without burning out

Why women with ADHD find working together so valuable, so useful and so relevant to actually getting things done

This is for you if EOFY is the thing sitting heavily in the background. Your tax return. Eeek.

  • You're a business owner with ADHD and 30 June has been a source of low-level dread since approximately March

  • You know what the tasks are - you just cannot seem to initiate them alone

  • You have an accountant who is waiting on something from you

  • You missed the first session and you're not sure if you can still join. You can. Show up to the next one. No explanation needed.

  • You feel so disorganised right now that the idea of showing up feels a little nauseating. That is exactly the right time to come. You don't have to have it together. That is the whole point.

  • The shame, the guilt, the expectations you have built up around this. Leave them in the shoebox. Bring the shoebox if you want. We'll work through it together.

  • You've had the receipts in a pile (physical or digital) for longer than you'd like to admit

  • You work best when someone else is nearby - you've always known this, even before you had a name for it

  • You need a low-barrier entry point that doesn't require you to be more organised than you currently are

  • You want to be in a room with people who also have a shoebox of paper, a folder of unread accountant emails, and absolutely no judgement to offer

Investment

One price. Four sessions. Get stuck in.

This is designed to be the easiest yes you make this EOFY.

Low barrier. High presence.

Built for exactly the brain you have - and the outcome you need.

Pull up a chair

Think elevenses around the kitchen table,

not a webinar.

No stage. No performance. No pretending you have it more together than you do. That is genuinely how Mel runs things.

Some people will arrive with Xero open and a reconciliation half done. Some will arrive with a scribble book and a shoebox.

Both are exactly right.

There are no stupid questions in this room and nobody is ahead of where they should be.

You might need one session to get unstuck and that is enough. You might come to all four and still be working through it and that is also enough. The whole point is that you showed up.

Hi, I'm Mel.

I'm AuDHD and, like many of the women I work with, I'm navigating shifting hormones alongside the mental load, the business, and everything else that does not stop just because your brain needs it to.

I bring the creativity, colour and hyperfocus of my ADHD brain alongside a genuine structural need for systems and processes from my autism side. It is a combination that most people cannot hold at once. I can.

I have spent 24 years running a business with my husband and have 30 years of finance, admin and business experience. I know my way around the numbers, the structures, and the bit between knowing what needs doing and actually doing it.

My job in these sessions is to sit beside you, help you get out of your own head, and get the things that matter sorted so you can get back to the work you are actually brilliant at.

Louie the cavoodle will also be in the room. He is the emotional support. He takes his job very seriously.

Meet Emma

Hi, I'm Emma.

I am a qualified counsellor and hypnotherapist with a background in science communication, and I have spent over a decade helping people say the hard things clearly.

Not the polished version of clearly. The actual version — where you know exactly what you need to communicate, your brain has processed it completely, and then you freeze, spiral, or say the wrong thing and spend the next four hours replaying it.

I also have a sparkly brain. Which means I understand this from the inside, not just the textbooks.

I work with scientists, founders, and business owners who are building something real, usually without a safety net, and who are tired of advice that assumes they have a team, a process, and the kind of uninterrupted focus that does not actually exist in their life.

My background means I understand what is happening in your brain when stress shows up — not just that it is hard, but why, and what it actually takes to shift an unhelpful pattern rather than just name it.

A few things you might be wondering.

I've done things like this before and dropped off. Why would this be different?

It might not be. I won't promise you that. What I will say is: this is four sessions, not a six-month program. The entry commitment is deliberately small. If you make two - great. One - still worth it. The structure is designed for imperfect participation because that's the only kind ADHD brains can reliably offer.

Do I need to have my EOFY finances in any kind of order before I join?

No. This is specifically for people who have not got their EOFY stuff in order. Come with the chaos. That's the point.

What does a session actually look like?

Short check-in (5 min) - you say what you're working on. Then you work, in the same Zoom room as everyone else. Short check-out at the end (5 min). Cameras on or off, your call. No performance required.

What if I can only make some of the sessions?

That's fine. Come to the ones you can get to. I'm not tracking attendance or running a guilt loop. Even one session of sitting with someone while you do the avoided thing has value.

What kind of tasks are people working on?

Anything EOFY-adjacent. Pulling together receipts. Sending overdue invoices. Updating Xero or MYOB. Dealing with the accountant's request list. Chasing outstanding payments. Reviewing what the business actually earned this financial year. Whatever has been sitting there.

Is this therapy or coaching?

Neither. It's facilitated co-working with someone who understands your brain. I hold the space and keep the environment regulated. She's not your accountant and she won't be lodging anything for you. But if you hit a wall mid-session and genuinely don't know what to do next, she has 30 years of finance, admin and business experience and she can help you get unstuck. That's the difference between this and a standard body doubling session.

Do I need to know what I'm working on before I arrive?

No - and if you do arrive confused about where to start, that's a conversation I can have with you in the check-in. I'm good at cutting through the overwhelm quickly: what genuinely needs to happen before 30 June, what can actually wait, and what you've been making bigger in your head than it needs to be.

June 30 is coming

regardless.

You can do what you've always done - scramble at the last minute, alone, in a shame spiral at 11pm.

Or you can show up fortnightly with someone who already knows your brain, and actually move the pile.

  • Receipts sorted.

  • Invoices sent.

  • The accountant's email finally replied to.

  • That folder you've been avoiding, opened and dealt with.

  • Tax return submitted.

That feeling when you hit send. Pure dopamine. That is what getting it done actually feels like.
